This is great news. I have a very close Armenian friend who cooks and the food is fabulous. I do hope they put in a restaurant.

Yay! It’s such an oddity that there has been this abandoned-looking plot right in the heart of downtown. That it’s being filled by a museum with a promisingly challenging theme doubles my excitement.

Congratulations to the Armenian community. While our Congress needs to be diplomatic with the Turkish government, it is shameful they have not officially recognized the devastation that befell the Armenian people. Fortunately, we live in country where such a Museum may rise without government interference. Like the goals of the U.S. Holocaust Museum, we must all learn from our past and be vigilant in the future. And, this continues to demonstrate the world-class nature of our extended neighborhood.

Wow, this should be really interesting! I’m partly Armenian so am particularly interested. It would be great if they also had a cafe/restaurant serving Armenian food!

wow – this could be a controversial museum. there seems to be little doubt among objective historians that a genocide occurred, but it remains a hot issue in that part of the world.

good to see some plans for this building. it could be so much more and it’s got historic value. perfect as a restaurant, multi-level night club or in this case a museum!
