Cribs…Penn Quarter Style

Posted by pqresident
September 15, 2007

We’ve seen some pretty awesome apartments downtown. There are a number of buildings that have 1500+ square foot apartments with two or three bedrooms and some buildings have multilevel apartments with lofts. A recent listing at The Residences at Terrell Place, 675 E Street, #1000, is one that just went up for sale on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and is worth noting. It has 2600 square feet of space, a 56 foot wide living room/dining room (the entire width of the building) with room for a (baby?) grand piano and has a high floor, majority view facing south.

How much bling will that set you back? A cool $1.55M.

awkward layout, looks like it could be a bowling alley.

Awww you’re just jealous. I wonder who did those built ins in the bedroom…nice!

I like the apartment a lot. I have just one question:

Is anyone else perplexed by the choice of bedding in the Master Bedroom?

The quilted-technicolor dreamcoat bedding just doesn’t seem to match the classic muted colors in the other rooms. Neither does the purple bench.

Just asking.

i don’t know about that republican elephant in the living room. that would get chucked out the window if it was my place.

Ditto on the republican elephant. Haven’t they seen “Designed to Sell” on HGTV?

it kinda looks like a bank.

Cultural Alliance, a couple of years ago had artist’s create Elephants and Donkeys (the Dems) as a fund raiser with a pretty decent party afterwards. They raised a lot of money for the Alliance. All in a good cause. Baltimore had fish and I think it started in Chicago with cows. Either for the beef? or for the Great Chicago Fire, previously blamed on a cow thought to have kicked over a lantern in Mrs. O’Leary’s barn.

I think it’s a bit mean spirited to criticize and/or make fun of the seller’s decor.

I doubt seriously that the elephant conveys so posters #4 and #5 don’t have to worry whatever their party affiliation may be (insert grin here). if this were any other town, odds are people would think it is just an elephant which also happens to be a very common symbol of wisdom in Asia (think Thailand and India).
