The Chinatown coffeeshop should stay open until at least 10 or 11pm. I think that this would garner a ton of business, particularly with all of the people getting on/off the Chinatown busses.

Can you tell us more about thos pastries? I have never been to Poupon, and I refuse to eat the junk served in the neighborhood after a trip to Paris last year. Burnt or greasy crouissants are never tasty.

More than the coffee, I was very excited to hear they would be serving treats from patisserie Poupon in Georgetown. Does get me wrong... the coffee is really god, the space with the exposed brick and free wireless is very nice but have you ever had Poupon's pastries? I have and would love any chance to buy them three blocks from my house!!
Well, apparently, the deal isn't set in stone yet so no decent pain au chocolat in Chinatown quite yet. Sad.

The cappuccino from Chinatown Coffee Company is a yes; takes like cafe cubano in Miami. Strong coffee -- I added sugar. Bagels from Whatsa Bagel, didn't try the pastries.
Welcome to the neighborhood.
