		<description>Yes, the Ford&#039;s theater will reopen for the 200th Lincoln birthday celebration. In addition to timed tickets, the museum on the lower level has been completely redone. A small gift and refreshment stand will be at street level, on the north side of the current entrance. And yes, there is FINALLY an elevator to the lower level. The number of seats in the theater has been reduced as more comfortable chairs have been installed (American&#039;s have bigger bodies these days). Timed tickets can be purchased in advance for a small fee (like the Washington Monument).

BTW Did you know that the Jefferson Memorial was dedicated in 1943, the 200th anniversery of Jefferson&#039;s birth?</description>
