Now Showing At Riot Act: College Hoops

While I not begrudge them for making money, that space is designated by the city as an arts space (theater/cabaret.) Comedy squeezes into that mission. Sports bar does not.
The space could succeed if their management be a litte more open minded about how the venue can work with other arts groups. I know they had a successful event with a film festival and they have reached out to Fringe and others.
The same management company also runs Iron Horse, which is in another location that was supposed to be for the arts.
If we give all of our planned arts space away or mismanage, soon, we will be a neighborhood of restaurants with no limited cultural activities.
