Roundup: Heard In The ‘Hood

Chinatown – We missed out on the Chinatown parade a weekend or two back. The Mount Vernon Square folks were on top of it though and have the photos for all to check out. [Life In Mount Vernon Square]
Shaw – Will Broadcast Center One’s groundbreaking be delayed into 2009? [RenewShaw]
Downtown – Jack Evans updated ANC2F about the Franklin School shelter’s closure. We speculated earlier that it really, truly is closed. It is. Now, the National Park Service can finally get in there and clean the park. [14th and You (3rd paragraph from the bottom)]
