Nordstrom Rack Opens In Penn Quarter (12th and E St NW)

Nordstrom Rack, the discounted arm of clothing retailer Nordstrom, opened this morning in Penn Quarter at the intersection of 12th and E St NW in the space formerly occupied by Barnes & Noble. The store is two stories tall joined by an escalator and unlike many Nordstrom Racks has a full time tailor associated with the store.

The departments are arranged as follows:

1st floor – men’s, home items, checkout, and returns
2nd floor – shoes, women’s, accessories, restrooms, checkout, and returns

We visited the store for a pre-opening event and found it to be clean and all store associates to be helpful. Now we have another close by choice for clothes shopping!
