New Exhibit at the Navy Memorial
The Navy Memorial launched a new exhibit yesterday honoring the Navy’s Special Warfare community. At the launch yesterday they also had several naval vehicles, like the above boat and the Humvee below. You can check out this year-long exhibit Monday through Saturday, 9:30 am to 5 pm.
April DNA Meeting Snapshot
For those of you who couldn’t make it to the Downtown Neighborhood Association meeting last Tuesday, Ward 6 Councilmember Tommy Wells’ site provides a partial snapshot of the proceedings and his appearance at the meeting. The next meeting is the evening of May 8 in the U.S. Naval Memorial Heritage Center at Market Square.
