RSS FeedDC Water’s Toast To Tap Celebration At CityCenter On Thu, Oct 2
Surrounding the lunch hour from 11 am to 2 pm, DC Water (formerly WASA), will host a celebration in the Park at CityCenter on I Street, NW between 10th and 11 Streets of the 40th anniversary of the EPA’s Safe Drinking Water Act enacted in 1974. There will be a water bar, food & demos, live music, and more.
We keep a jug of chilled tap water in our fridge for when we get thirsty and to fill up our portable water bottles for exercise runs around Penn Quarter and downtown. It’s one of the least expensive yet most valuable basic resources we buy. Water is life!
