With the official arrival of Summer, let’s head outdoors for lunch al fresco or evening promenades. Here are a few ideas for Summer rendezvous (assuming no Armageddon-like storms like last night get in the way!)
- Screen on the Green: free, starting July 20 with North by Northwest
- Jazz in the Park: free, Fridays in the NGA Sculpture Garden
- Concerts on the Avenue: free, Navy band concerts at the Navy Memorial
- Al fresco lunch or dinner at your favorite green space, we love the National Law Enforcement Memorial (pictured to the right, E St. at 5th, NW)
- Late night snacks on the hip patio at Grand Trunk (641 Indiana Ave., NW)
