A lot has changed since our last post. In the span of a month the U.S. economy in certain sectors has come to a standstill while other folks work from home if they are able. And that’s the catch. Our neighborhood has become very quiet since restaurants, coffee shops, and the Capital One Arena all contribute a large part of the energy to the area. They are all in stasis currently.
Some businesses remain open and the Downtown DC BID assembled a list we are linking to below. Patronize your local businesses as much as you can and feel comfortable doing. We are certainly doing our part by patronizing at least one local business per day.
