Last night we noticed that a new spa on G ST between 10th & 11th called PR at Partners. This metro center location currently offers only haircuts and makeup, but they plan to offer a full array of spa services.
Prices for each service are based on the individual team member who is working on you. A quick check of the metro center location shows designer cuts that range from $35 to $70.
They opened last Thursday, and there are already several other locations in the DC Metro area. Presumably this location will get a lot more people to notice them once West Elm (directly across the street) has opened.

I have been going to the PR@Partners on 21/K for almost three years now, and am VERY excited that my stylist, Justine, is coming to PQ. I’m not sure how many of the 21/K stylists are coming with, but Justine is enough for me!
Parking can be arbitrarily difficult over there – unlike here, where PQ residents of course won’t need parking, but at least there is a reason that parking is tight!
I disagree that a furniture store would bring patrons – I don’t really see that connection – but the salon at 21/K is always packed, so I’m sure this one will do well.

just wanted to say that PR @ Partners is *not* as good as everyone says . . . or at least, not all their stylists live up to their reputation. after sitting for 30 minutes talking about what i wanted, i ended up with the worst chop-job i’ve ever seen. even the girl who fixed it said “woah, this is um, not good.” and she couldn’t even fix it all the way without cutting off all my hair – it’s still shorter on one side.
all this for $70 . . . i coulda’ gone to bubbles and saved aggravation and money.
