I have no love lost for PQNA, but would be nice for you to cite them as the (verbatim) source of this info. They have done a service by compiling this. (And it’s the Montreal Canadiens, not Canadians, and they played last night, not tonight.)

Comment by Clara Barton Dweller on February 11, 2010 @ 1:32 pm

Great to have this info – thanks for posting it!! I might actually venture outside today…

Comment by pqresident on February 11, 2010 @ 1:47 pm

@jpq – the PQNA asked us to put the information up so we did so almost verbatim as a community service – Ford’s Theatre gave us an additional update we inserted. we were more concerned with getting the info up in the morning then writing the perfect post as some PQ Living folks were asked to report to our full time jobs today.

Comment by PennQuarter on February 11, 2010 @ 3:57 pm

Sorry jpq feels the way he/she does about the PQNA; would love to hear why. Please call 202-626-0011 or email me @ joann@PennQuarter.org

The Natural History Museum was open today (despite what the Smithsonian website says). It was also open on Monday and Tuesday, too. Good opportunity to visit without the usual hordes of tourists.

If its the PQNA that does the Xmas Market and Summer PQ Art in the streets thing, PQNA is invaluable in making PQ a better place. Thanks Joan

PS, Parents visiting DC during holidays loved the Xmas Market.
