RSS FeedNational Train Day This Upcoming Saturday
Amtrak will be celebrating American rail travel at the 3rd Annual National Train Day on Saturday, May 8 from 11 am to 4 pm at Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave NE). Actor Taye Diggs of Private Practice will be on hand to help celebrate 140 years of train travel throughout the country. Other festivities will include train equipment and model train displays, a National Park Service Trails & Rails Exhibit, an Eco-friendly exhibit, a culinary demonstration by Chef Michel Richard, live music and other family friendly activities.
