RSS FeedApril DNA Meeting Tomorrow Night
The April Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) meeting will take place tomorrow night in the Calvary Baptist Church (use the entrance at 733 8th Street, NW) between 6:30 pm and 8 pm. The agenda follows:
- update from the MPD (Public Safety Area 101 West) on public safety and from the Guardian Angels’ Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, John Ayala, about Guardian Angel engagement in the downtown area
- Neil Albert, Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Planning, will be the key discussion leader
- Kurt Large, one of the co-owners of Rocket Bar, will be present to describe his concept for the Iron Horse Cafe which will open in the currently vacant space between the Red Velvet Cupcakery and the District Chophouse
