Chop Sticks Restaurant Officially Closed (719 H St NW)
It looks like the rumors are true – thanks dave! It’s a super busy day in the neighborhood and the interior of Chop Sticks is dark. Combine that with the “close” signs on the doors and we think that it’s not coming back.

when i came to DC in 82 Chopsticks and the AV were my first restaurants.
the burnt green beans and tofu was my favorite Chopstick dish.
I don’t think it’s depressing for the owners of Chopsticks. Who probably got a huge check and are laughing all the way to the bank.
…the people who owned it were nice, but I can’t say I will miss the food. I was kinda hoping the Matchbox guys would buy it and fix it up like they did with their spaces. Now if only we could get rid of the blue paint on the bus building on H Street.
Actually, now I see a building permit for the “renovation of existing restaurant and offices” . . . could it be?
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Man that’s depressing. Pretty soon there’ll be no more mom and pop Chinese restaurants left.
