Chinatown – Ping Pong Dim Sum hosted an invite only Chinese Lunar New Year (Year of the Tiger) celebration. We were there and it was quite the time. Today is technically the first day of the Year of the Tiger. [French Twist D.C.]
Capitol Hill – Does putting a chair in a dug out street parking spot “claim” the spot? [The Hill Is Home]
All Over DC – Myer Emco, one of the best places to find high quality audio and video equipment, is closing after a 55 year run. [Washington Business Journal]
NoMa (North of Mass) – The Gales School redevelopment bids window open to homeless providers was extended to March 18. [Washington Business Journal]
Georgetown – Sidewalks of snow shoveling shame. [Georgetown Metropolitan]
Penn Quarter – Poste Brasserie in the Hotel Monaco will be closed for a restaurant refresh between February 15 and February 26. They’ll reopen for business on February 27 and we will be interested in seeing the new look! [PQL Intelligence Network]
