DC Shorts (Film Festival) Starts Tomorrow Night
Did you know DC has its very own short film festival? It does and it’s what makes downtown such a fun place to be in September. Film showcases, each about two hours long, start tomorrow night and run for one week’s time until September 18th at our neighborhood’s own Landmark’s E Street Cinema (555 11th St NW). This year the festival will be using a special phone based ballot system allowing the audience to vote for the film of their choice during the opening weekend. Audience members will be given a special code for each of these movies allowing them to vote by phone for their favorites. Music and screenplays will be vying for votes also. Check the DC Shorts website for ticket information and all the details.
