RSS FeedPeak Cherry Blossom Bloom Date Updated Again…Events Kick Off Tonight
The National Park Service made another adjustment to projected peak bloom dates for our vaunted cherry blossoms and the new peak bloom window is Wednesday, March 23 to Thursday, March 24. The Washington Post predicts peak bloom from Thursday, March 24 to Monday, March 28.
The official event line up kicks off tonight with the Pink Tie Party at the International Trade Center. It wraps up on April 16 with the Cherry Blossom Parade.
Any way you cut it, check your schedule for the week ahead. What we enjoy about living in Penn Quarter is being able to walk over to the Lincoln Memorial without having to park a car!
