Per the posted signage, the Penn Quarter Austin Grill (750 E St NW) is now closed. We ate there the Sunday before closure and noticed the menus pulled off the exterior signage boards. This restaurant has been in place since the MCI Center era and predates the 2005 boom era of redevelopment.

Their service stunk and the food was rarely what you actually ordered! Hope something wonderful takes its place!
