Penn Quarter Parents…Sharing Nannies
We’re a big believer in the urban family concept and know that many couples in our Penn Quarter (PQ) buildings have kids. We’ve written before about PQ babies, the PQ Parents Google newsgroup, and the effort to bring a playground to greater downtown. This Penn Quarter/Downtown nanny share request on a DC Urban Moms & Dads forum caught our attention and we wanted to put it out there as a reminder that Penn Quarter isn’t just for singles. Here’s the situation:
1. Share for 20-30 hours for 3 days a week flexible)
2. We are down to choosing between two experienced nanny’s w/ great references (happy to introduce you to them)
3. Both nanny’s are legal and would be paid $10-$11 per hour by each family
4. Our child is a 3 month old; looking for one other child
5. looking to start in mid-January
6. open to hosting or open to you hosting
and a further update…
we’ve settled on 3 days (8 hours a day, for a total of 24 hours a week).
Still looking for a share partner.
Open to hosting (we live in Penn Quarter) or going to you, if you are in Penn Quarter or near the Dupont Foggy Bottom area.
Do you have tips on sharing nannies in Penn Quarter and/or DC?

We wrote about nanny-shares recently on downtowndckids. This post has some advice: http://downtowndckids.org/nanny-share-finding-a-share-family
