Sales Office Upgrade Coming To Metro Center Station + New Next Train Signs
We read over at Greater Greater Washington that WMATA was awarded $230 million from the region’s Transportation Planning Board. A few items stand out from the usual track upgrade and replacement projects. One item is to expand the sales office at Metro Center to include more space for workers, more sales windows, and a more customer-friendly design. There is also a plan to replace all of the Next Train displays with flat screens like those seen at the 7th & H entrance to Gallery Place (after you ride the first set of escalators down into the station).

I’m glad to hear about the expansion of the sales office at Metro Center. gpliving thanks for reading through all of the sites you do.
I have noticed that they the flat screens times at the entrance to Gallery Place are usually not correct. Anyone else notice that?
