Seasonal Work
Although it pains us to write this we have to face the facts; summer’s almost gone. Fall is a great season in DC, but we wouldn’t mind the warm weather holding on for just a little while longer. But you can already see the changes, cooler weather, shorter days (the dark mornings make it so much harder to wake up early). Soon vendors like the above will have to switch to another job as tourists are no longer riding on the open top of the double decker busses.
Help us feel better about the changing of the seasons, tell us what you’re looking forward to in DC this fall.

The expanded circle of lunch options – when its too hot in the summer i tend to stick to a 1-2 block radius of my office. Fall and Spring i am more likely to pick someplace further away just for the sake of walking without starting to sweat in my suit….

every fall I’m reminded that moving downtown into a condo relieved me of the responsibility of raking leaves off a lawn. I really did not like raking leaves. shoveling snow and chipping ice off the driveway…not a problem…but raking leaves was awful. now I smile when fall comes.
