PERFORMS IN THE PENN QUARTER
In 2009 Sofya Gulyak was awarded 1st prize and the Princess Mary Gold Medal at the Sixteenth Leeds International Pianoforte Competition, the only woman to achieve this distinction. She has since performed throughout the world to great acclaim.

Actually, First Congregational Church of Christ is at the corner of 10th and G, next to the MLK, Jr. Memorial Library. I guess they are letting another congregation use it like they are letting Ford’s Theatre use it for The Laramie Project during the shutdown.
