Smithsonian Reynold’s Center Courtyard Cafe Menu (pic)
Soups, sandwiches, a salad bar, Gifford’s ice cream, espresso, and beer/wine grace the Kogod Courtyard cafe menu. The cafe stays open from 11:30am – 6:30pm in the wifi-enabled courtyard. For those who are interested, here is a pic of their current menu:

It may be free, but how much of a hassle is it to get your computer into the building? Hopefully it’s not like jumping through all the requisite hoops to get your laptop into the Library of Congress.

Does anyone know whether it is ok to bring in a brown bag lunch? I asked at the opening a couple of weeks ago, but no one seemed to know. I work (and live) in the neighborhood and am looking for a new place – besides the Building Museum, which is great – to meet up for lunch.
I’m sure its fine to sit at one of the benches and eat. brown bagged lunch at thhe cafe seating might be a bit rude.

Unrelated but for those who miss the coffee at Juan Valdez, we noticed last night that one is coming soon near Farragut Square (17th and I).
