Tomorrow Is Primary Election Day
If you are registered with a party, don’t forget that tomorrow, September 9, is Primary Election Day for the Congressional and DC City Council primary. Polls will be open 7 am to 8 pm and Precinct 143 at the Chinese Church at 500 I Street, NW, will be open for business for those Ward 6 voters who are in the new precinct.
Check the (nicely) redesigned DC Board of Elections and Ethics website for more details.

I went early to the new Chinatown precinct to vote for Pat Mara. Nice new precinct, everyone very friendly and professional. No lines, no problems. Let’s go Pat!
We only had 170 folks vote at the MLK library. If we want to elect Jessica Lanza as our next ANC representative, we need to have more voters than that. Come on folks, please vote!
