Bantam King, a ramen and fried chicken eatery, opens tonight for dinner service at 5 pm at 501 G St NW. In an ode to a former tenant, Burger King which closed circa late 2014, the restaurant is keeping the “king” in the name. It keeps the fast food vibe but adds improved interior decor and the added bonus of serving beer. Bantam King is brought to you by the owners of the nearby Daikaya on 6th St NW,

Very excited for this! Daikaya’s ramen is one of the best meals in DC, let alone Penn Quarter. If this place is even half as good, I’ll be happy. (Well, no..)
