Bruegger’s Will Be Open On The Weekends!
While we can’t swear Bruegger’s will be open Friday, they’ve got hours on their door now showing 7 days a week from 6 am to 7 pm. What a treat, can’t wait to try them out.
On this day of perceived bad news, perhaps we can take this as reminder that we still live in the best neighborhood in the city!

I passed by on my way to work this am and popped my head in. Not open yet, but they said they would be open on Monday morning.
Its 555 9th Street, but the address is misleading because the entrance is on the E street side between 8th and 9th – I believe that is across the street from SoHo.
Did anyone go by yet today to see if they are open? I’m so excited at the possibility of getting up and going for a bagel breakfast tomorrow morning!!
They’re in the 505 9th ST NW Building, but they’re on the E ST side between 8th & 9th. No address on their entrance yet, so I don’t know if they’ll get an E ST address or not.
I stuck my head in at Nando’s Chicken, the foreman said it would open mid-June. We all know it will open later then that…
On a related note, it looks like the Waffle Shop exterior may be preserved. But the rebeuilt waffle shop may still go by the convention center, maybe.
On #6’s related note, I know it’s not the fun exterior, but I really like the Waffle Shop now being at the Lincoln House. The food is just as good, maybe even better than at the old WS location. Same friendly staff, more comfortable setting, and it’s only a few doors down from the WS location.
I hope those of you who want diner food are remembering that great spot.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
That is great news. Can you post the location again, please?
