The odd numbered side of the 400 block of Mass Ave NW also hosts the Dumont Condominiums (425 & 401 Mass Ave NW), the Ledo pizza building and a large victorian building (seen in the artist’s rendering of 455 Mass Ave).

i saw a building permit up on the store next to Juan Valdez (not the Bodysmith storefront). Yesterday, I saw workmen removing chunks of concrete and debris from the store. Any idea what is going in there?
In the spirit of permits and such, Cowgirl Creamery has hand its alcohol license approved. The cashier said that they should start carrying wine in a couple of weeks.
PS7’s Food is Incredible
I discovered this place quite by accident when I was walking through the Penn Quarter / Chinatown Neighborhood in DC. I did not realize a restaurant had opened there. The food at PS 7’s is delicious – five star service and food by any measure. Highly recommended.

We also found that 455 Mass Ave “will carry the distinction of being the first commercial office structure to be erected in the Mount Vernon Triangle area in the last 30 years.”
