DC Link Roundup: Heard In The ‘Hood
Capitol Hill – Don’t know how we missed this one last week but we did. Eastern Market reopened after restoration following the fire that took it out out of service for quite a while. [The Hill Is Home]
Southwest – Arena Stage construction is taking on an outline. [SWDC Blog]
Between Park View and Petworth – Anybody missing a cat? [Prince of Petworth]
Mount Vernon Triangle – Our colleagues at The Triangle point out that Absolute Thai at 6th and H Streets, NW, a Thai restaurant where the Lee Loo Lounge used to be, is now open. We popped in for a bite and think it’s worth a try. The menu is divided into three categories with a selection of soups, appetizers and entrees for each category: Authentic, Healty and Specialty. They have lunch specials and perhaps best of all…the Sweet section includes mango and sticky rice as a choice. As always, we need to test it out a few more times before coming to a conclusion we can write up and share. [The (Mount Vernon) Triangle]
