Dewey Want To Bid On Some Art?
Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP is going through bankruptcy and part of their art collection will be up for auction on February 1st by Weschler’s. The art collection (valued at over $2 million) no doubt contains some amazing works, but it is the foreign versions of classic movie posters that have captivated us as we walk down the 900 block of E Street NW.
We don’t live in a loft so there are no cathedral ceilings in the Columbo household, but for those of you who do have the space these giant movie posters are the epitome of cool (we’re still smarting over not winning the Sinatra painting in 2011). How can you not bid on this masterpiece?
