Oyamel (401 7th St, NW) is expected to open in the old Andale space in January of 2007. It is moving from Crystal City.
Swimming Stays Solvent
The Gallery Place YWCA (624 9th St, NW) pool closing was staved off and will stay open as long as membership levels are retained. Thanks Otavio for letting us know.
Restaurants Regale
PS7 (777 I St, NW) is now open. So is the Willard Room (1401 Penn Ave, NW). Get your eat on !

phew….saved from german italian food (what ever that is) this is a fine replacement for Andale….living above that restaurant I can say that this development makes me very happy 😉
I am very pleased to hear that the YWCA pool will remain open. The YWCA is a nice and affordable gym in our neighborhood and the pool is great!
