RSS FeedWaPo: Ford’s Theatre Renovation Update
Last Friday, WaPo filed an update on the Ford’s Theatre renovations leading up to a February 2009 opening. The story is long on history but a bit short on the actual details of the renovations. We’ve reported on Ford’s Theatre before and look forward to having it reopen. Here’s to hoping that needed legroom improvements are part of the renovation!

It specifically mentions that the new seats are period, upholstered theater style seats with armrests and fold up seats. For those folks nostalgic for the old seats — there’s a link leading to the opportunity to purchase them.
