Penn Quarter’s Souvenir Row is getting a little variety in the coming weeks. Game Day Sports Shop is just two weeks away from opening, according to workers at Honest Abe’s Souvenirs (1000 F ST NW). Game Day Sports Shop will be located on the second floor of that 10th & F location, owned and run by the same Honest Abe’s folks. The told us it would sell hats, shirts, jerseys, and the like.
So in a couple of weeks (after they’ve stopped fooling around with Tampa) when you find yourself in the market for a Mike Knuble jersey for a Stanley Cup Party, this might just be the place to get it.

I don’t think anyone will be rushing out for a Knuble jersey. However, Game Day Sports Shop might want to consider carrying a few Bergenheim jersies.
