Operational since February of 2006, Penn Quarter Living is a regular news and information site focused on living, working, going out and generally enjoying all that downtown Washington DC’s East End has to offer. We cover downtown DC east of the White House and west of the Capitol with the focal point being the Penn Quarter’s 7th Street corridor. At 2.2 million page loads and growing, a consistent readership turns to Penn Quarter Living for a regular dose of downtown DC news.
Locally owned and operated, and born out of a desire by local denizens to promote a safe, interesting and fun urban community, you’ll find downtown DC residents, workers and students from all walks of life reading and commenting on Penn Quarter Living. This site is operated to provide a community service and is done so on a volunteer basis. All story comments are moderated according to our comment policy and are free of spam and link backs.
The Penn Quarter Living team runs a high availability site with at least three new stories appearing each week. Other media outlets reference our stories regularly and advertising inventory is now available on our site. (None of our stories are paid placements.)
