F Street Goes Co Co
The opening announcements just don’t stop, do they? Today we’re pointing you to a WaPo Dish article about the Co Co. Sala, a lounge themed on chocolate, coffee and drinks, looking to open by Valentine’s Day at 929 F Street, NW (it was previously called C3Fix). The Washington Business Journal reported on this venue in April of last year.
The F Street story is slowly unfolding with the Cowgirl Creamery (919 F Street) open for a while now followed by Mia Gemma (933 F Street) opening early this year. More welcome culinary and lounging news for the PQ and all you chocoholics!

Speaking of late night, Matchbox is now open until 1:00 a.m. on the weekends for a great, late night pizza alternative to the nasty jumbo slice in Adams Morgan. Hopefully, you just won’t be greeted with the same 2-hour wait that now seems customary at Matchbox for dinner.

What excited me about that Post article is that it should give us another late night option. It wasn’t that long ago we were all bemoaning the lack of many places to hang late at night.
