Shuttle Flyover Extravaganza *pics*
The space shuttle Discovery flew a few laps around downtown DC last week on its way to retirement at the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy center. One of our PQ Living readers caught the action from the top of a Pennsylvania Ave condo and we thought we’d share! Click on any of the photos to get a larger view.

It was pretty cool and I enjoyed seeing it, but I kept thinking to myself….this seems like a really bad idea…..I can’t believe they really approved doing this.
Did anyone see the amazing shot on the Post’s Style front page above the fold — the 747 and shuttle were sitting atop the point of the Washington Monument. One had to ask if it was photoshoped but that would not have been cricket without being disclosed. It’s number 35 of the photos the Post posted on this event
