We received an e-mail from the Downtown Neighborhood Association announcing their monthly meeting tomorrow at 6:30 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church, 755 8th Street NW. Notably, representatives from Walgreens and Douglas Development will be presenting:
As you know, we postponed the DNA meeting scheduled for Feb. 12, but have our speakers lined up for this coming Tuesday, Feb. 19. It will be held, as usual at 6:30 pm. at Calvary Baptist Church. Here’s our agenda. This promises to be a very informative meeting. Here’s the lineup:
- Police Service Area 102 report
- Andrea Gourdine of Douglas Development Corp. will report on new projects
- Jin Kim, Community Store Manager, Walgreens, will report on their new flagship location at 7th and H Streets NW
- Discussion: Should “Landmark designation: be extended to other buildings in the neighborhood?
- Open Forum
