Ford’s Theatre Penn Quarter Resident Discount – Hello Dolly! (and beyond)
Ford’s Theatre (514 10th Street NW) wrote in to let us know about a resident discount and their latest show, Hello Dolly!.
Penn Quarter residents get 20% off theatre performances using a special promo code (you do need to show proof of residence when you arrive at the theatre).
The current show running is one of our favorite musicals, Hello Dolly!, which is about a cantankerous half-a-millionaire Horace Vandergelder who hires matchmaker Dolly Levi to find him a wife. Dolly soon hatches a plan to woo and win Vandergelder’s hand herself, while simultaneously arranging romantic prospects for his niece, his clerks and two of Manhattan’s most eligible shop girls. PENN QUARTER RESIDENT DISCOUNT
Residents of the Penn Quarter neighborhood in Washington, D.C., receive a 20 percent discount on tickets to Ford’s Theatre performances (excludes A Christmas Carol and Mark Russell). The Penn Quarter neighborhood is defined as the area bordered by 15th Street Northwest and the Center Leg Freeway (Interstate 395) to the west and east, and between New York/Massachusetts Avenues and Pennsylvania Avenue to the north and south. These tickets may be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster online or by calling (800) 982-2787. Use promo code PENNQ. You must show proof of residence at the Box Office once arriving at the theatre. Limit of two per person.
