Word comes to us from Ford’s Theatre (511 10th St NW) about two discounts available, one for residents of downtown DC/Penn Quarter and the other for the romantic at heart. This is for performances of Violet which run until Sunday, February 23. Every neighbor we’ve talked to who’s seen Violet has great things to say about it. Residents of the Penn Quarter neighborhood in Washington, D.C., receive a 20 percent discount on tickets to Ford’s Theatre performances. The Penn Quarter neighborhood is defined as the area bordered by 15th Street Northwest and the Center Leg Freeway (Interstate 395) to the west and east, and between New York/Massachusetts Avenues and Pennsylvania Avenue to the north and south. DATE NIGHT DISCOUNT
Ford’s is running a special Date Night promotion where patrons who use code DATE50 can get two-for-one rear orchestra tickets to Violet.
