Tennis Opens Up Downtown

In early May, we reported on the Washington Kastles tennis team taking over the Center City Parking Lot for the summer season. WaPo has a nice write up about the home opener last night with Serena Williams. Sounds like it was another downtown hit!

my very first job…was teach tennis for the DC Dept of Rec…tennis has a lot of fans in DC and not just at the hi end of the socio economic ladder…im sooo delighted to have this in our neighborhood… i know the kids will love the programs and its easy to get to for those without cars etc…
now…where can i find a schedule??
