Largest Short Film Festival on East Coast Returns to DC for 12th Year
September 10-20, 2015
The 2015 DC Shorts Film Festival showcases one of the largest collection of short films in the USA. Out of 1,300 entries from around the globe, programmers selected 125 unique films that reflect the 24 nations they represent — to bring a world view to Washington, DC.
Enjoy the festival in person at venues in Downtown Washington, DC — or sit back and watch over 100 selections in the comfort of your home, office — or on the go! Online access is only available during the festival, and will be turned off at midnight, September 20.
FILMS: Films range in subjects and genres but all are shorts, 2 to 30 minutes long.
PARTIES: DC Shorts Film Festival would not be complete without their parties, celebrating filmmakers and audience members alike. Tickets for the opening night weekend, City View Party (at Carroll Square) and Der Biergarten (at Goethe-Institut) will feature great views, light refreshments and special drink selections. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

Celebrate DC Shorts’ opening weekend under the stars atop the roof deck at Carroll Square. Dance the night away with our amazing guest band, Ocho de Bastos.
