RSS FeedMVT To Get A Buddha Bar
We mentioned in October of 2007 that the Buddha restaurant chain was on the hunt in the PQ for a spot to land in Washington. They didn’t land in the PQ proper but they will land in the Mount Vernon Triangle with the announcement that a Buddha Bar will be taking that humongo and currently empty bay on the ground floor of 455 Massachusetts Avenue. We think this is huge news…after all, this is a 9,600 square foot restaurant we’re talking about. Perhaps this is one signal that DC is going to weather this economic downturn with aplomb and it is further validation that the Mount Vernon Triangle is getting development love. We like that too.
