PQ Farmers Market Set to Open April 5th!
Tired of considering cans of refried beans from CVS fresh produce? Then you’re in luck, the FreshFarm market is set to open Thursday, April 5th.
The market will be open each Thursday from 3 to 7 pm, on 8th ST NW between D & E Streets. The market will run until November 15th, after which it’s back to CVS for your dietary needs.
How does this market compare with the others in the city?

The see and be seen farmer’s market is hands down Dupont Circle; it’s a social scene.
The most affordable with a mix of organic and local produce and shipped products is Adams Morgan. I prefer the Adams Morgan one and the one in Mt. Pleasant, the most variety, not as expensive as Penn Quarter/Dupont and all local/organic.
Yay!
Another win for PQ!
More ambiance and complicated salads for me! I adore the unusual greens from the provences the Farmers Market offer.

Yay! This seems earlier than usual. I wonder if they’re following DST? But no complaints here. Can’t wait to have them back.
