A couple of workers at dizzying heights (at least for DC) worked Friday afternoon to hang a banner advertising the new construction going up at 1199 F ST. From the street level it appeared like they sat on nothing more than wooden boards attached to rope, presumably that’s just an illusion caused by the distance.

that’s great to hear that they are both still planning on opening – thanks! any idea what the delay has been? when i’ve periodically peaked in the windows at both places it sure looks like they’ve stopped working.
so, i’ll continue to sit tight and continue to anxiously await salads and potatoes!

Does anyone have an update about Potato Valley and/or Chop’t Salad? I just called the number on the Potato Valley site and it said it was disconnected. Hmm….
