RSS FeedWard 6 Family Day This Saturday
Ward 6 Councilmember Tommy Wells will host the 4th Annual Ward 6 Family Day this Saturday, June 26 from 1 to 4 pm on the Sherwood Recreation Center fields (640 10th St NE). From the web page:
We will have free food from Harris Teeter, raffle prizes galore (Washington Nationals and gift certificates to many local businesses), face painting, arts and crafts, free health screenings, a water activity for kids, music, games and much much more.
All are invited to participate in this summer event for our diverse ward which has constituents in each of DC’s quadrants. Part of the Penn Quarter is in Ward 6 – it’s a great opportunity to meet your DC Council representative and the broader neighborhood!
