ANC 2C Community Meeting Tonight At MLK Library At 6:30 PM (incl. new hotel at 11th/K)

The ANC 2C (Advisory Neighborhood Commission) will host December’s meeting tonight in the MLK Library (9th and G St NW) at 6:30 pm (Lower level – Room A-10). On to the full agenda as delivered to us by the Penn Quarter Neighborhood Association:

Transportation, Zoning, Public Space, and Historic Preservation Review Board
1. DDOT Proposed Plan for Capital Bike-Share Stations – The proposed plan introduces numerous bike share stations to the downtown area. The draft plan is available at http://ddot.dc.gov/capitalbikeshare Further, DDOT requested suggestions from Commissioner Tinpe (ANC 2C01) for locations for another Bike-Share station within a specified radius of McPherson square as shown on a map included with the request. The public can also suggest locations based on a map with existing locations at http://cabistations.com/ Kimberly Lucas a staff member of DDOT will be making the presentation. Kimberly.Lucas@dc.gov

3. Sixth & I Historic Synagogue’s proposed plans to re-clad the exterior skin of their adjacent administrative building and renovate the adjacent row house’s I Street façade in conjunction with the expansion at 606 and 608 I Street, NW – Referred prior to presentation to the Historic Preservation Review Board.
