Downtown/Penn Quarter – The Downtown Neighborhood Association is hosting its monthly meeting tomorrow night at 6:30 pm at Carmine’s Restaurant (425 7th St NW). The MPD will have their PSA-101 report and the Penn Quarter Bodega will also present their concept for a neighborhood food market. [DC DNA]

Penn Quarter – The second Penn Quarter Bodega happy hour will be from 5 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday, September 15 at the Riot Act Comedy Theatre’s upstairs bar. [Penn Quarter Bodega]
Chinatown – The signs for the Corner Bakery at 6th and H St NW are now up and there’s a lot of translation going on to interpret the Chinese language rendering of the business’ name. [The Triangle]
