Gallery Square Update – An Improved CVS?
WaTimes updates on the Gallery Square concept being put forward by Yeni Wong. Ms. Wong owns the building at 7th and H Streets, NW, housing the 24 hour CVS. A little bit of history comes with the article too; it has been 12 years since Starbucks first leased its Chinatown location.

The new restaurant is called Mandu and was mentioned in the Weekly Dish (you can find it on washingtonpost.com). Also, I googled the restaurant there’s a help wanted ad on craigslist that indicates it will likely open the last week in October.

Thank you soooo much for this article, I never look at the WaTimes and would have missed it. What I can’t understand is why some really good Chinese restuarants can’t open in Chinatown!
