How Does Your Garden Grow?
I’ve recently been thinking a lot about gardening. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to make a salad from your own lettuces, herbs and tomatoes? Or add a sprig of fresh mint to your lemonade or cocktail? Or even to be able to go out and cut fresh flowers for the table any time you please?
Sadly, my balconies are in the shade and I haven’t had any luck growing anything useful. I’ve often seen little community gardens as I’ve walked or driven through the city. Have any of you ever participated in one? I did some research to see what is close by. There are actually quite a lot of community gardens around town, but nothing right here in the neighborhood.
Maybe we should try to establish one here. Let me know if you have any tips.

my buddy has a plot over at one of the commu gardens ..its fun..its def one of those things that…you get out of it what you put into it…but we sure have been enjoying his harvest… im in the pq and we keep basil mint and other herbs out on our “community patio” there always seems to be enough for pesto or cocktail garnish etc.. with very minimal effort.. xoxo
